PDF The best part of this book is that it's not like the other, hey, here's some tech that looks like it came from Star Trek, but that the author takes his time to talk not just about how the tech is developing (or not developing, as is sometimes the case) but what it could mean for us a species. He takes the idea that just because we can, doesn't mean we should. He's also really, really good at breaking down complex topics and explaining things like how warp drive and cloaking devices might work. Highly recommended.
